We know the earth isn't 6000 years old, we know the earth isn't flat, we know the sky isn't a glass dome with windows to let the rain in, we know the earth isn't the center of the universe, etc. Just because we haven't yet pinpointed the exact natural explanation for our origins doesn't mean the 'magical' one wins by default. There's still the question of "where'd the creator(s) come from?" And "where'd the creator's creator come from?" Anyway, no I don't believe children should be beaten to death. The "killing children and adulterous wives" thing is from the bible. It's what the crazy bible thumper I wrote the email to believes (no shit. check the site. the sick fuck even wants to make it a law).
