My IE problem

ok so apparently it’s not just my site. links with target=_blank are useless on microsoft’s own site as well which means my IE is a piece of shit. Humblest appologies to the teeming masses that frequent the site. Now behold the majesty that is my first (incredibly generic) creation with photoshop 9!

edit: gone!

An interesting thing came to my attention today.

It seems that anything that isnt a plain ol’ html link doesnt work in certain versions of Internet Explorer (ie: popup image links, other completely generic javascript, even target=_blank) :)). I’m too n00bish/dont give enough of a shit about the site/IE to fix it and since I’m the only one I know with any interest at all in the site and a Firefox user anyone with a problem will just have to hop on the bandwagon and get firefox.

New CMS at AttroPheed.com

Spent the better part of 8 hours installing and configuring Mambo today. Check it out at AttroPheed.com. Still absolutely no reason to go there and I dont expect that to change it was just a cure for boredom.

More TFC Textures…

In my ongoing effort to make life easier retexturing an entire mod I stumbled across instructions for enabling detail textures making it even more difficult. It seems if you can somehow get ahold of some basic greyscale texture files you can give any old half-life mod a bit more graphical punch (as long as youre pretty much face to face with a wall :p). Anyway, back to work but first here’s a pic describing wtf I’m on about…

Custom TFC Textures

Lately I’ve been working on a set of custom textures for the ancient Half-Life mod Team Fortress Classic. It’s mind numbing work but it’s coming along at a pretty brisk pace. I doubt I’ll ever release them but it is an interesting way to burn up hours of my life that I’ll never get back.

Again, nothing…

…but a picture of things that go awry when the French are allowed to build something modern.
